Uncovering the link between brain connectivity, function, and disease
The Raj Lab conducts cutting-edge neuroscience research in the growing field of network neuroscience. We focus on developing mathematical and computational models that use the brain’s structural connectivity to predict the development of brain diseases, including Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, schizophrenia, depression, and tinnitus, as well as characterize the state of a healthy brain and its development.
The wonderful thing about studying the brain as a network is that we can leverage the power of mathematics and science to prove amazing things about networks that can then be applied to the brain.
